More Evidence of White House Deception – Washington Post “President Obama’s attempts to wriggle free from his own words and actions on Libya are making things worse. The President clearly misled the American people with this claim, because if Obama’s Rose Garden speech was indeed the White House position, it did not inform any subsequent statement by the White House press office — and was even directly contradicted by his own spokesman several days later.”
“The more we learn the more we see how both dishonest and incompetent has been the handling of this entire incident. The Obama White House may be out spinning the press to buy into the Obama-Crowley line, but no one is buying it. As the rest of the information comes to light, the president retains less and less credibility.”
Romney’s Blow for Leadership Staggers Comeback Kid – NY Post “It’s the future, stupid. If the test of last night’s showdown is whether President Obama was more aggressive and energetic than he was in the first debate, then he wins the Comeback Kid award. But if the standard is who is more focused and better prepared to create jobs and improve the American economy in the next four years, then the winner was Mitt Romney. He looks and sounds increasingly like a man who is ready to take on the enormous challenges of being president.”
Once Again, Obama’s Record Wins It for Romney – Human Events “And when the candidates were asked by one of those committed undecideds to dispel any myths about themselves, Obama used it to lay out one of the least convincing arguments of the night. “I believe,” he explained, “that the free enterprise system is the greatest engine of prosperity the world’s ever known.
Yet, if a person had listened to the preceding hour (the preceding four years, actually), they would have learned that the free enterprise system wasn’t “great” enough for the health care insurance industry, retirement funds, auto and banking industries, housing markets, education, green energy, or basically any other area that his administration’s policies have touched on in four years. It would be interesting if someone – perhaps at the next Townhall debate –would ask Obama to define what the free enterprise means to him.”
Electric Car Crash: Obama’s Green Energy Industrial Policy Turns Up in Chapter 11 – Wall Street Journal “Mitt Romney quipped in the first Presidential debate that the problem with the Obama Administration’s green energy investing isn’t that it tried to pick winners and losers, but that “you pick the losers.” He was being generous. Another big green Administration favorite went belly-up on Tuesday with the Chapter 11 filing by battery-maker A123 Systems Inc. … In 2008 President Obama sold voters a fairy tale about millions of “green jobs” that he could conjure up merely by “investing” taxpayer money. The 2012 election is in part a referendum on whether Americans can be fooled again.”
