The Reverend Who Gave Obama’s Inaugural Benediction Thinks All White People Are Going to Hell – Daily Caller “Lowery said that when he was a young militant, he used to say all white folks were going to hell. Then he mellowed and just said most of them were. Now, he said, he is back to where he was. ‘I’m frightened by the level of hatred and bitterness coming out in this election,‘ said Lowery.” Can you imagine the OUTCRY in the media, if a white reverend said this about African-American people?
Clarity Needed on Benghazi – Washington Post “The attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has become a political football in the presidential campaign, with all the grandstanding and misinformation that entails. But Fox News has raised some questions about the attack that deserve a clearer answer from the Obama administration.”
A Vote for Mitt Romney for President – Nashua Telegraph “True leaders also don’t wait until two weeks before Election Day – in the form of a 20-page booklet, no less – to lay out a specific agenda for the next four years. Coupled with the negative tenor of the campaign, that merely confirms the president and his strategists felt that attacking Romney’s agenda was more politically expedient than releasing one of their own. Nevertheless, we are confident Romney is the candidate who would tackle the serious issues facing this nation, starting with jobs, the economy and the debt. In the end, we couldn’t say the same about the president.”
Quarter-Billion-Dollar Stimulus Grant Creates Just 400 Jobs -Washington Times “Battery maker A123 Systems vowed thousands of new jobs when it received a nearly quarter-billion-dollar stimulus grant in late 2009, but federal job-tracking figures show only a few hundred positions were created before the company joined a growing list of federally backed energy businesses that ended in bankruptcy.”
“‘The bankruptcy raises the prospect that taxpayers will get little or no return on their investment in A123 and will lose millions of dollars,’ they wrote, adding that the ‘administration needs to answer for this. The taxpayers shouldn’t have to subsidize poor investments in failed energy companies.’ Mr. Thune called the A123 stimulus package ‘another example of President Obama gambling with taxpayer dollars and picking winners and losers in the green energy world.’ ‘“There were clear warning signs that A123 was having financial problems even as the administration continued pouring millions of taxpayer dollars into this failing company,’ he said.”
